The Congregational History Society Magazine
The Congregational History Society is independent of all denominations. The Congregational History Society Magazine is issued in the spring and autumn of each year and includes a wide variety of articles on several topics, from architecture to music to women's history. The editor is our minister, Alan Argent, who is keen to encourage contributions, especially from new writers. The latest issue of the Magazine (Volume 11, Number 3, Spring 2026) includes the article 'An Epic Journey in Southern Africa' by Dr Alan Argent in memory of Peter Young (1961-2025) a long time member (and deacon) of this church and of the History Society.
Digital copies are available from two years ago and earlier at The Congregational History Society Website and also at the Biblical Studies Website. Printed back copies may be available from Trinity Congregational Church. Please contact the editor for these. Printed copies are available to consult at the Congregational Library at Westminster College, Cambridge. Contact the Librarian, Dr Jacqueline Reiter.
We welcome Jane Giscombe as the incoming reviews editor.
